The RRK Foundation believes in creating opportunities to enable the under privileged and uneducated to learn the skills for a successful life. We believe in creating success stories that can become the harbinger for a prosperous nation.

EDUCATION
Since 1994, the Trust has rewarded meritorious students of class 10exams in Seshadripuram High School, where the late R. Rajagoplan was a teacher for four decades. Every year, two students, a boy and a girl, recommended by the Headmaster of the School, are awarded financial support. So far, 26 students have been awarded
The Trust takes care of the school fees of various economically deprived children, pursuing education at the primary and middle schools. The Trust supports as many as 20 children every single year largely during the school admissions by bearing a range of cost from the admission fees to the cost of books and materials.
HEALTH & SOCIAL SUPPORT
The Foundation extended its financial support to the December 2004 Tsunami afflicted families in Cuddalore, Tamil Nadu, by way of purchasing and distributing relief materials such as Candles, Torch Lights, Batteries, Blankets, Tamarind, Dal, Cooking vessels, Feeding bottles, Milk powder, Dhothis, Lungies, Sarees, Clothes for children and also medicines.
For the last seven years, aged couples residing in Bhandavya Nagar, Vyalikaval, with no support or capability of earning, received financial support from the Trust as monthly pension till their death.
DEVELOPMENT PARTNERS
1. Karnataka State Council for Child Welfare
The Trust jointly with Karnataka State Council for Child Welfare supported a training programme for their42nd Batch of Balasevikas. This programme was started by Smt.Lokasundari, wife of the Nobel Laureate Sir.C.V.Raman, and is meant for young women from underprivileged backgrounds. It is a 10-month programme on child health and nutrition and pre-school education. On completion of the programme they are employed as Balasevikas and crèche teachers and in social work.
RECENT PROJECT UPDATE
COVID 19 SUPPORT
The Covid 19 lockdown affected everyone. But it affected the poor and the daily wage sections of the society the most. To help such people RRK Foundation took many initiatives. Some of the initiatives were distribution of essential items and masks.
SLUM RE-HOUSING PROJECT
RRK Foundation is Financing Rs.10 lakh for construction of 20 Houses towards Slum Re-housing project in Kandawara near Chikkaballapur. Out of 20 Houses, 7 Houses have been taken up for construction.
RENOVATION OF TOILETS
PROJECT DETAILS:
“Basappa Choultry”, is a small hamlet in the heart of Chikkaballapur town, which is approximately 56 kms of North Bengaluru, and there lived 65 families over 70 years as of now. The living condition of these people is not good with very low income as they work as domestic workers and daily wage earners, agricultural workers, ragpickers, and some without any earnings.
SUPPORT FOR STUDENTS, STREET VENDORS AND SMALL ENTREPRENEURS
RRK Foundation is supporting nearly 100 students for their Education. Amongst them three Children viz., Sneha, Amrutha and Kartik were recommended by Karnataka State Council for Child Welfare (KSCCW) for the last 3 years(from 8th to 10th Standard).
RRK Foundation has planned to support a minimum of 25 street vendors and small entrepreneurs, whoever has been affected severely during the lockdown period of Covid-19 situation.
SUPPORTING TEMPLES AND PRIESTS
RRK Foundation has given support by way of cash to Temples and Religious Priests in Bangalore.
